Reality
The world had a rose tint when i saw it for the first time.
Souls connected with red threaded lines.
Love was in the air, as i always thought so,
To a perfect happy ever after or something of that sort.
Too much of fantacies, i realize now,
The world and a rose tint? Nah! It’s got colours diverse than a rainbow,
It’s just what you chose to see, rose, blue, or even black,
You would never notice a constant colour, even if you look back
The red thread? They are more complicated than i perceived.
The threads knotted and balled before they were received.
And sometimes it isn’t 2 but 3 and even 4.
And in some cases, the number keeps getting more.
Life is about the grace you make around yourself.
Things you do to make yourself smile, shouldering the biggest burdens.
I now see the world, in a new hue of light,
Baby yellow would be the colour, if i have to be precise.
I dont notice the red threads or rose tint anymore in my sight,
But the small things like the wind and flowers making me smile.
Probably the prize of the grey hairs that have spawned,
A journey, not so fun but glad to have lived on.
